How long and at what temperature should I bake bbq chicken?

Just Me's Question:
This is actually my 1st time making bbq chicken. I'm making it for my parents when they come over so I don't really want to call my mother and ask her how to make it. I have about 2.5-3 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breast. I want to bake it. How long should I bake it, at what temperature and do I add the Bbq sauce before I put it in the over, during or when? Thanks so much. Also what sides go well with it??
